What wonderful news about the Autumn Party/Halloween Disco - it sounds like everyone (children and adults) had a great time. We are lucky to have such an efficient and effective partnership between school and home, not all schools are able to put on events like this for the children. Well done to everyone. Miss Jeffreys

Glad to hear the discos went well and they made a sizeable profit too! Unfortunately I will be working on the day of the next meeting so will be unable to attend! Feel free to keep me informed if you need help with santa letters or sponsored sing!

It is great to see that even if the parents cant come to the actual events or meetings they are still looking for ways in which they can help out. We are very lucky in our school to have such dedicated parents. Miss Jeffreys

I would like to say a big thankyou to Jane Lewis for organising 2 wonderful hallowen parties for the children. I think I am pretty safe in saying both parties went really well and the children had a ball.
As a helper serving hotdogs I would like to say how polite the children were and are a credit to the school and their parents.

Thank you, but I have to say it's really a joint effort from parents and staff to organise events like this. It takes a lot of hard work and effort from everyone concerned and I would like to say a big thank you to everyone who helped make all the parties such a success, including Mrs Treen, Miss Knight and the rest of the staff who often work very hard behind the scenes to ensure the safety of the children at all times. To everyone who gave up their time to help out, including the mums and children that decorated the hall prior to the discos, you all helped to make it yet another fun event for the children. Thank you once again.

I think everyone enjoyed themselves from the comments made by the children on the night. The children all looked fab in their costumes, as did some of the adults! We have just finished counting the money and it will be on the website soon.

I know I have a hard act to follow, taking on the position of Chair after Mrs Gibbens, and a great big thank you to her for all shes done so far. Im sure I will be asking her for advice now and again! We are in the process of compiling a newsletter detailing all new committee members and fundraising events with dates. This should hopefully be coming home with children on Monday 12th October. If anyone has any new ideas or comments please let us know. Thank you all for your continued support, Miss Jane Lewis.
Ps. A big Thank you once again to Miss Jeffreys for this brilliant website, looking forward to working with you and the rest of the staff to ensure we continue to have lots of fun events for the children.

I have just registered the HSA on the Easy fundraising website and signed up to start buying things listing the HSA as the organisation I want to receive the donation from my shopping. It was really quick and easy to do and what a simple way to buy and fundraise at the same time. Now then shall I visit Toys R US, Boots, The AA, Next, The National Lottery, New Look? Choices, choices, choices! Miss Jeffreys

Hi Miss Jeffries & Jayne, just been thinking about some fund raising ideas for xmas, what about xmas cards, a photo of the childrens gorg faces on the front i am sure we could keep it cost effective, something to think about. What about a talent comp, with the X factor on the t.v, i am sure we have got some fab singers in our School or even a ABBA concert, just a few ideas i will carry on thinking.

is there a website competition this week

Gosh Paige you work fast I have only just replied to the message you have sent into the school's website telling you to ask the HSA about the competition and .... here you are asking! So what do you think HSA committee? Should we have another website competition to promote the school and HSA website? Do the pupils and parents want more competitions? Let the HSA know if you do. Hi everyone, I've just realised that I won't be able to make the meeting on the 10th as Charlotte has gymnastics at 4.30pm and a party straight after. Really sorry, would have loved to have been there. Let me know if you change the date for any reason. Otherwise count me in for any help
needed. Cheers!

Thank you for your message Vicky and your offer of support. It's always great to have new people on board. We've had to change the date for the A.G.M. It's now going to be on the 17th at the same time. Hope you can make that one.
